New Inspiration Studio Opens at Abt Electronics

Abt Electronics, the nation’s largest single-store retailer of electronics and appliances located in Glenview, Ill., has expanded its 100,000+ square foot showroom in honor of its 80th anniversary. The new Inspiration Studio, designed by Mick De Giulio, premiered on October 13, 2016, adding an additional 10,000 square feet located in the loft area of the store’s famous atrium, featuring innovations in kitchen design and premier kitchen appliances from a dozen luxury manufacturers.

Mick De Giulio Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

On September 14, 2016 The Merchandise Mart honored the Midwest’s best in residential interior furnishings, architecture, interior design and residential development during the second annual Merchandise Mart Hall of Fame Induction and VIP Luxury Gala.

Honored for their achievements and contributions to design, this year’s recipients were Mick De Giulio, Lifetime Achievement; Darcy Robert Bonner, Architect; Alessandra Branca, Interior Designer, and James Loewenberg, Residential Developer.

Salone del Mobile / Eurocucina 2016 -- "Your Lifestyle, Your Kitchen"

On April 13, 2016, SieMatic welcomed international kitchen specialists, interior designers, and journalists to their new showroom on Viale Monte Santo in Milan as part of the 2016 Milan Furniture Fair. The evening highlighted the three SieMatic style collections URBAN, PURE, and CLASSIC and welcomed special guest Mick De Giulio. Mick shared projects from his new book KITCHEN.
